I first saw this bedroom vignette a couple months ago, and every time I've seen it since, just end up loving it even more. The teal + rust orange are such a pretty color combination, and I just love the arched silhouette of the mirror, resting atop the more traditional wood nightstand.

I came across this room a few days ago, and was immediately smitten with it! It achieves that rare combination of chic, eclectic, colorful, and comfortable. (There's nothing worse than a pretty space that you'd never want to actually be in for fear of messing it up, am I right?) I especially love the rich, jewel-toned accessories that really make a statement in the room.

Today I'm sharing one of my very favorite rooms, and how you can achieve the look yourself!

This room is such a great mix of both traditonal and modern design, and I love how the two balance each other out. While most of the main furniture pieces are fairly classic (ie: the sofa, console table, striped rug and white chairs), the addition of the lucite coffee table, colorful Jonathan Adler pillows, and the ceramic dog statue add some quirky and modern elements that keep the space interesting.
This is a great example of how accessories can truly set the tone of a room - by sticking with neutral, more traditional pieces for the main, bigger-budget items in a room, you're able to go a little more funky & fun with the accessories. The result is a happy, eclectic space that's both fun and traditional.
