Greetings, friends! While working on my blog re-design over the last few weeks, I realized it had been a hot minute since I'd posted one of these "get the look" posts... which is just a shame, because they're one of my favorite features to put together!
I love this series because not only is it a great exercise in honing in on the looks + styles that I like, but it also encourages me to figure out how to achieve that style. And obviously, my hope is that it's also helpful for you guys who are reading :)
To explain a bit about how I put these posts together (and how you can do something similar), when I find a room or vignette that I really love, I tend to analyze what exactly about it makes it great. One of the best ways to do this, at least for me, is to break the space down into individual components, and then to figure out which of those components are important for the overall look/vibe. Then it's just a matter of finding the same (or similar) items, and you'll have a blueprint for achieving the same look... Plus, as a bonus, it kind of feels like you're going on a decor treasure hunt! :)
Anyway, moving on to today's featured space. I love this colorful, layered entryway... It's just so happy + welcoming, isn't it?:

I love that most of the items stick to a white, blue, green, and natural wood color palette (which keeps the space cohesive), but the awesome persian rug adds the perfect punch of color + pattern (which keeps it interesting). Overall, the mix of colors, textures, and finishes makes for such a happy entryway! And a perfect spot to take off your classic hunter rain boots, I might add ;)
Happy Wednesday!
