Etsy Shop Spotlight // Clare Elsaesser Art

Happy Friday and Valentines Day!!

I've been a huge fan of Clare Elsaesser's art for a while now, and I thought it was about time to highlight some of her work! She sells both original paintings and giclee prints in her etsy shop, and if you haven't seen her artwork before, I definitely recommend checking it out.

The mood of her paintings is sometimes light + whimsical, and sometimes moody, but all of her work has an easy, loose quality to it that I love. I also really enjoy her unique use of florals in her portaits... which happens to be quite appropriate for Valentines Day, too, am I right? ;)

Currently, I have a print of "Married to the Sea" hanging on my wall, and love it very much. The colors are so gorgeous in person!

Etsy Shop Spotlight // Sparkmodern Pillows

Etsy is one of my absolute favorite sources for home decor items (especially for pillows, art & accessories), and I find that I often turn to many of the same shops when I'm looking for something in particular.

I thought it would be nice to start a new series highlighting some of my go-to shops, and am starting with my favorite pillow shop, Sparkmodern.

Sparkmodern is usually the first place I look when sourcing pillows for client work, or even when I'm just looking for inspiration. The owners of the shop, Lauren & Amy, have a great eye for the most beautiful designer fabrics, and their customer service is wonderful!

I am absolutely loving these pillows from their shop right now:

All of them would make such a statement in any room, don't you think? :)

I've always been amazed at how adding something as simple as a great pillow can completely change the look + feel of a room.

Also - I was so inspired by Sparkmoderns beautiful pillows, I put together this little pillow scheme & created a mood board centered around it. It's sort of a blue & neutral boho modern design:

curtains / bamboo blinds / mirror / pillows: 1, 2, 3 / sofa / vases / coffee table / rug

Shockingly, I zeroed in on mostly blue fabrics paired with neutrals & wood tones... clearly, this is becoming a pattern, but I just love that combination!
