Holiday Gift Guide!

Holy moly, I can't believe its been almost a month since I last blogged! My sincere apologies for the break, but I did want to pop in with some last minute holiday gift ideas.

If you're anything like me, you may still be scrambling to find a last little something for someone on your gift list, and hopefully something below will help :)

1 //  ACACIA WOOD CHEESE BOARDS  //  Sur la Table  //  $10-$25 - Wood cheese boards are a great gift for your friend who loves to entertain - they make any appetizer spread look better! Plus, they even look great stored on your countertop, too (a la this).

2 //  GOLD RIMMED GLASSES & SPHERE ICE MOLDS  //  Sur la Table  //  $20 (set of 4 glasses) & $11 - Perfect for the cocktail afficionado, these gold rimmed glasses are sure to make any drink fancy! And the ice sphere molds are awesome for keeping drinks chilled without watering them down too much... I've gifted them to several people already!

3 //  FARIBAULT WOOL THROW  //  Target  //  $80 - Everyone loves a nice throw blanket, and this one is neutral, pretty + cozy. Plus, since it's a collaboration with Target, it's about half the cost as most Faribault throws!

4 //  "DO IT ANYWAY" ART PRINT BY KRISTI KOHUT  //  Minted  //  $20-$325 - Minted is probably my favorite shop for art prints right now - I'm finding that I turn to them first when sourcing art for projects. I love that they're limited edition, they're well curated with a great selection, and there are tons of size + framing options to choose from. This particular print is one of my current favorites - the colors are gorgeous! I also love this print and this print from the same artist.

5 //  TEXTURED MERCURY VASES  //  West Elm  //  $23-$35 -  Much like I turn to Minted for art, West Elm is always the first shop I check out for vases and accessories. These textured vases are so pretty, and I love the two toned quality of them.

6 //  AGATE STONES  //  Urban Outfitters  //  $12 - I'm a big fan of agates - they add a wonderful natural + organic quality to any vignette or bookshelf. These ones from Urban are available in several colors, and are so affordable - a great gift for a decor-loving friend!

7 //  FUCHSIA POM POM THROW  //  World Market //  $35 - This vibrant throw is SO soft, and the pom poms are such a fun touch! A great gift for a friend who loves decorating with bright colors + cozy blankets!

8 //  'I WOKE UP LIKE THIS' MUG  //  Urban Outfitters  //  $10 - Not gonna lie, I kind of want this mug for myself! Mostly because it would make me laugh every time I drank my morning coffee out of it, looking totally tired & disheveled. Haha! Nice little gift for your coffee-loving friend :)

9 //  DWELL STUDIO FACETED WHITE VASES  //  Lulu & Georgia  //  $15-$75 - I know I've posted these before, but I just love them so much. They come in three sizes, and they just look so good grouped together. Love!

10 //  BRASS TERRACE BAR CART  //  West Elm //  $399 - This is the perfect bar cart, in my opinion. Simple, clean lines, good size, and brass (though they have it in a polished nickel finish as well). Priced pretty well, too, all things considered.

11 //  GLASS BUD VASES  //  West Elm  //  $14 - These bud vases are a great little gift for a friend or coworker. Just add a little sprig of greenery for a happy + cute gift!

12 //  'WATERCOLOR INKBLOT' BY KRISTEN SMITH  //  Minted  //  $20-$325 - One last print from Minted that I really love. Even cooler, this one comes in three different colorways, so you can choose the one that suits your friend best. Love it!

 

Yay for gift giving! So excited that Christmas is right around the corner!

Happy Friday and Happy Halloween!! Before heading into the weekend, I wanted to share some of my favorite finds from October, many of which have a definite Halloween and/or Autumn vibe to them - it's so fun adding some festive pieces to the mix this time of year!:

1 //  BLACK SWIVEL WALL SCONCE  //  Overstock  //  $187 - I've always loved the sculptural, dramatic qualites of Serge Mouille lights, but not exactly the hefty designer price tag. These swivel sconces from Overstock are very reminiscent of the real thing, at a fraction of the cost!

2 //  WOOD TRAY  //  Target  //  $20 - This would make an awesome coffee table or centerpiece tray. I love the natural finish of the wood - it feels very warm and Autumn-y to me.

3 //  STEP UP CANDLEHOLDER SET  //  cb2  //  $30 - These candleholders are such a great deal! I love that they can be arranged several different ways, and I'm definitely a fan of the pretty gold finish.

4 //  FACETED BLACK VASES  //  Lulu & Georgia  //  $15-$75 - I've been crushing on these Dwell Studio vases for forever now, and am thinking I might finally cave and purchase :) Just need to choose between the black or the equally awesome white!

5 //  SERPENT BOWL  //  Nate Berkus for Target  //  $20 - This is a perfect example of a subtle Halloween accessory, both practical (it would be a perfect catch-all vessel on an entryway table) and festive!

6 //  GOLD ACCENT TABLE  //  Target  //  $60 - Love love love this gold side table, and cannot believe the amazing price! Target has been absolutely killing it with side tables this year (see this one and this one for starters!)

7 //  'PALM SPRINGS BLUR' PRINT  //  make29 by Elise Joy //  $22 - As per usual, I'm loving Elise's make29 this month! There are seven awesome limited edition palm tree prints available, and I can't wait to get this one up on my walls!

8 //  CAST IRON SKULL SCULPTURE  //  West Elm  //  $30 - One of the more standard Halloween decorations, a skull sculpture adds a fun, spooky element to any vignette or bookshelf. Love this cast iron version from West Elm.

9 //  TORTOISE SHELL SCULPTURES  //  Target //  $30 - These resin sculptures would add both a natural and vertical element to a bookshelf vignette - love that they come in a shorter and taller version, too.

10 //  GEOMETRIC WOOD PLANTERS  //  West Elm  //  $50 - These handmade faceted planters are so cool, and are decidedly not Autumn-y, but can be used year round with air plants.

11 //  GLASS DOME CLOCHE  //  Target  //  $30 - Another great way to display Halloween or Fall decorations, cloches are a great way to create a vertical element in a vignette. You can place anything from feathers, flowers, mini pumpkins, pine cones, etc. in them.

12 //  GOLD CHEVRON PILLOW  //  Target  //  $30 - This gold pillow would transition beautifully from Fall to Winter, or even all year long. Pretty!

And just like that, it's the last day of September! Up until this past week, it was still feeling like summer around these parts (hello, nearly 100 degree weather!), so I'm SO happy it's finally starting to feel like Fall. Nothing beats this time of year for me; bring on the scarves, baking, and football, please!

Anyway, before we head into October, I wanted to share some of my favorite finds + purchases over the last month:

 

1 //  MALONE CAMPAIGN NIGHTSTAND  //  West Elm //  $399 - I love love love campaign style furniture, and I absolutely adore the wood tone of this walnut nightstand. And the brass hardware + legs adds the perfect amount of shine, too!

2 //  GLOBE CAPIZ CHANDELIER  //  Serena & Lily //  $395 - I've discussed my love of capiz shell chandeliers already, but this new version from Serena & Lily might be my favorite... love the more oval shape, and that the metal plates are a lighter gold finish.

3 //  GOLD FACETED VASE  //  Nate Berkus for Target //  $14.99 - That Nate Berkus sure knows what he's doing! I pretty much love faceted everything, so it's no surprise I love these vases. And, can't beat the price!

4 //  WHITE FACETED VASE  //  Nate Berkus for Target //  $9.99 - This vase is a little smaller and not shiny like the gold one, but the shape keeps it interesting. It's a perfect little bud vase!

5 //  CALIFORNIA CUTTING BOARD //  AHeirloom //  $48 - I'm a fan of pretty much anything California-themed, and this cutting board is no exception! It would be such a fun way to serve a cheese plate, or any other appetizers, really. They offer all of the states here, and I love that you can personalize them by having a heart, star, or house engraved on the cutting board, in your desired city/location... so fun!

6 //  MILITARY VEST  //  Nordstrom //  $68 - I'm a fan of wearing vests during the Fall, and this one is definitely a new favorite! It's not quite as warm as a quilted vest, which is great this time of year, and I love the fit + army green color.

7 //  SANIBEL REVERSIBLE PENDANT  //  Stella & Dot //  $79 - Yet another Stella & Dot necklace that I really want! Like many of their necklaces, this one can be worn multiple ways (long or short), and is reversible (has a smoky glass on one side, and an aqua quartz on the other side), so it's essentially four necklaces in one! It also comes in silver, for those who don't wear gold.

8 //  BRASS PLANTERS  //  Schoolhouse Electric //  $50-$65 - Love the simplicity of these modern brass planters.

9 //  'DANCE IN BLUE' ART PRINT  //  Minted for West Elm //  $129 - This framed art print by Katie Craig has such a pretty mix of colors, and I love that the print feels soothing yet playful at the same time.

10 //  HERRINGBONE THROW  //  Target //  $19.99 - This is a great looking blanket for an unbelievable price! Totally reminds me of this blanket from Serena & Lily, but for literally 1/15 of the cost.
