Do you have fun plans for the weekend? I'm venturing over to the Bay Area for a quick trip, and am pretty excited about it!
And speaking of heading to the coast, I've been so drawn to beach and ocean artwork lately, and love the idea of bringing the coast to ones home in this way. There are tons of ways to do this, but I think my favorite is with a large-scale photograph:

**Fun fact: I just realized as I was typing this post that the two photos above are the same room, styled two ways. It's amazing how the same room can look so different when shot from another angle, with different lighting & styling, right?!

Anyway, I just love how the above photos give you the sense of bringing the outside inside, which makes the spaces feel bigger and more airy... almost like you've added more windows to the room.
And, even if you live no where near the coast, photos like these would sort of give you the sense of a coastal getaway in your own home - not a bad thing :)
