Happy Holidays!

I suppose I'm a little belated with this, but just wanted to pop in and wish you all the happiest of holidays!

To be honest, I'm still a little shocked Christmas is over! The days leading up to it were such a blur trying to tie up loose ends on some projects and scrambling to finish gifts (note to self: maybe try to finish those handmade gifts before Christmas Eve next year?!)

Anyway, it's been a great few days spent with family and friends, and I hope your holidays have been just as wonderful!

Interiors i love // Ann Lowe Design

I recently came across the work of Ann Lowe Design, and am now a huge fan! Based near Austin, Texas, you can definitely see the southwestern + desert influences in these spaces (mostly through the textiles).

Here's a look at some of my favorite spaces + details:

That top kitchen is great in so many ways - I especially love the steel blue cabinets, wood shelving, backsplash tile pattern, and the concrete counters.

But in general, I love all of the rustic details + textures mixed with pops of colorful textiles... and those Tom Dixon lights in the last space don't hurt either!

Currently Loving // Spoonflower

I've already posted about Spoonflower before, but I've recently come across tons more designs that I love, so thought I'd share!

I'm amazed by how talented some of these independent textile designers are. Many of the designs even look like the work of high-end designers... For example these and these almost look like they could be John Robshaw or Peter Dunham designs (for a huge fraction of the cost!)

And even cooler, Spoonflower has recently released removable wallpaper, so you can find many of these great designs in that format as well. I love this idea, and it's especially useful for renters who can't permanently alter their walls. Below are some of my favorite wallpaper options:

I think it's a great option if you want to add some color and pattern to your walls, but don't want to make the commitment of permanent wallpaper.
