So, I've mentioned this many times before, but blue is by far my favorite color. I love just about every single shade of it, but my favorites tend to be the deep, saturated hues like navy, cobalt, and indigo. Blue is unusual in that it looks good with every other color, and in that way, can almost be considered a neutral... but I also love that it has the ability to be a total show stopper, too.
Take the navy velvet sofa. They tend to be a statement piece in most rooms they're in, yet they don't ever seem to clash with the surrounding elements. Here are a few of my favorite spaces with them:
