As I've mentioned before, I was a total rock nerd when I was younger. I absolutely loved collecting colorful stones and rocks (anyone else remember the Nature Company & their awesome rocks?!), and to this day I find natural stones quite beautiful.
Lately I've been especially loving seeing them incorporated into interiors - whether as a table lamp, wall sconce, tray, paper weight, or even just as a decorative object - they can really add a natural and beautiful element to a room. And whereas some smaller rock objects can add a nice, subtle sparkle, the larger ones can often create a dramatic statement piece.

And while some of these picks are a bit pricey (or a LOT pricey!), an easy & cheap way to incorporate natural stone into your decor is to frame small geodes or agate slices in a box frame, and display them on a wall or in a bookshelf, like I did in my room.
