Spring Fever // Green

Hello and Happy Monday!

Even though St. Patrick's day weekend is over, why not keep the green party going? Green is such a fresh, clean, and energizing color - perfect as we head into Spring!

I've included some favorite (mostly thrifty) picks to incorporate into our wardrobes & homes, so that we can enjoy these lovely shades of green all year long:

3 // Bright Green V-Neck Tee, Old Navy, $6 - These are my favorite basic tees (by far!). They come in lots of colors, have that soft, almost vintage feel, and you can't beat the price!

7 // Green Wedge, Old Navy, $25 - A great casual wedge for spring & summer. And again, can't beat Old Navy's prices!

8 // Moss Screen-printed Candle, K. Hall Designs, currently on sale for $23.80 - I have this candle, and am obsessed with it. Such a fresh, clean scent, burns forever, and has a cute screen-printed pattern it!

Color Palette // Navy & Pink

This color combination has really been catching my eye lately. I tend to like navy paired with almost any color, but it's particularly pretty when paired with pink - don't you agree?

Color Palette // Pink & Purple

In the past, I've never really been a huge fan of pink and purple together - it's always seemed too girly and juvenile to me. But lately, I've been really drawn to shades of pinks, plums, and purples together. Here are a few reasons why:

Perfect Pairings // Mustard & Steel Blue

My love for pretty much all shades of blue & yellow together continues. Right now I'm especially loving a rich mustard yellow with a cool steel blue - the combo seems to be perfect for the transition into Fall.

This painting by Caroline Wright (yes, it's another one of hers - I'm obsessed with her whole The Drip and The Line series), and this outfit really showcase this color combination.

Color Palette // Plum happy

Lately, I've really been drawn to the color plum. I've been noticing vibrant plum tones in everything from interiors to artwork, clothing, and flowers, and I'm really digging this dramatic color.

Plum is a great fall shade, and I'm looking forward to seeing & wearing more of it this time of year!

Color Palette // blue & gold

I've been really digging blue and gold together lately - in interiors, artwork, jewelry, you name it.

I can't help but wonder if it has something to do with college football starting, and I'm subconsciously drawn towards anything with a blue and gold color scheme. Or perhaps it's because I practically lived in blue & gold t-shirts the whole time I went to Cal (Go Bears!), so it's become part of my genetic makeup... it's kind of a stretch, but maybe it's true?

Anyway, I truly do love these two colors together - they make quite a striking pair, no?
